At Durham Surplus, we work hard to offer competitive pricing, local delivery, and quality products. Please read our policy carefully before placing an order.


All Sales Are Final

All products sold on our website are considered FINAL SALE.

We do not offer:

  • refunds,
  • returns,
  • exchanges for preference changes,
  • or cancellations after an order has been processed.

By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to these terms.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives:

  • damaged,
  • defective,
  • broken during delivery,
  • or incorrect,

we may offer a replacement item at our discretion.

To qualify for a replacement:

  • You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order.
  • Clear photos/videos of:
    • the damaged item,
    • packaging,
    • and shipping label may be required.

Claims submitted after 48 hours may not qualify for replacement.


Replacement Conditions

Replacement requests may be denied if:

  • the product shows signs of misuse,
  • damage occurred after delivery,
  • the item was installed or modified improperly,
  • or insufficient proof is provided.

If a replacement is approved:

  • we may replace the item with the same product,
  • or provide a similar replacement if inventory is unavailable.

No cash refunds will be issued.


Delivery Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • providing the correct delivery address,
  • ensuring safe access to the property,
  • and being available to receive large or valuable deliveries if required.

We are not responsible for:

  • delays caused by weather,
  • incorrect addresses,
  • missed delivery attempts,
  • apartment/building access issues,
  • or carrier delays outside our control.

Order Cancellation Policy

Orders may not be cancelled once they have been:

  • processed,
  • packed,
  • shipped,
  • or scheduled for delivery.

Please double-check your order before completing checkout.


Product Availability & Pricing

We reserve the right to:

  • limit quantities,
  • cancel orders due to inventory issues,
  • correct pricing errors,
  • or discontinue products without notice.

If an order cannot be fulfilled, the customer will be contacted.
